A jobsite phished my email name and now sends spam "to me" "FROM me".?

How can I migrate to a totally new ID and keep my paid account? I cannot block my own email address [I tried]. I would like to keep the paid account along with all my contacts and existing emails but deactivate my main email address. How can I do this? If not, why not? Someone mined my email address to send me crap spam and it has never happened before. Yahoo will lose customers if they can't figure out a way to let us stop this kind of spam. PS - BTW I can't stand the constant spell checker/punctuation popups. Thanks!
