if you get a older model of the Nintendo DS (big gray one) you'll save some money. You can also pick up a "R4 Card" and just pirate all of the Nintendo DS games you want. You could get a newer version of the DS (like DSi) and they have other flash cards available you can buy online, but they tend to be a little more expensive.
