Does Pete Rose deserve to be in the HOF?

Yea yea yea Pete rose did gamble...so what! Hes still on of the greates baseball players that ever lived! He had a lifetime batting average if .303 with 4256 hits and 1314 RBI...he is a beast an I believe that bud selig(asshole) should let him in. What do u think?
