I have been told by one very old person that my original place is vellore town in tamilnadu.I want to know mo?

Basically we are teleugu but migrated to maharashtra 100-125 years back. My great grand fathers name was PIRAJI and his Fathers name was BALAJI. Piraji ( my great grand father) was working with Christian missionaries or mission hospital. He came in maharashtra with christian missionary. I have been told by old person that our original place is vellore. Can any body help me to find out my original place /
